In Search of a Space for Your Class, Athletics Function, or Event?
Classrooms, certain athletic facilities, and Alumnae Hall are available to rent during times when they are not in use by Ellis students, staff, or faculty. With our campus conveniently located in the heart of Pittsburgh's East End and right across the street from Bakery Square, Ellis' spaces are perfect for hosting lectures, receptions, after-school enrichment activities, athletics competitions, special events, and more.
Renters are required to carry liability insurance coverage with no less than $1,000,000.00 in coverage for each occurrence and no less than $2,000,000.00 in aggregate coverage regarding the use of the property. Renters must also provide The Ellis School with a certificate of insurance documenting said insurance coverage and naming The Ellis School as an additional insured party. Failure of renters to provide Ellis with evidence of the specified insurance will result in termination of the rental agreement.
The Ellis School Rental Fees
| Classrooms | $25 for weekday, $50 for weekend |
No time minimum, possible discount if using multiple rooms |
| Ellis Athletics Field | $200 per hour for weekdays, $250 per hour for weekends |
2 hour minimum |
| Alumnae Hall | $125 per hour for weekdays, $175 per hour for weekends |
2 hour minimum |
Additional fees may be incurred if security and/or site manager are required.
A certificate of insurance listing The Ellis School, 6425 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206, as the named insured party is required.
